Add New Quote | Create Quote

  1. Click Sales menu located on the sidebar menu (left-hand side of the screen).

  2. Click Quotes option.

  3. Click Create New Quote button.

  4. Fill in Customer and Vehicle fields.
    Optionally, you can provide current Mileage.

  5. Optional Quote Settings: Set Quote Date (current date by default), and Expiry Date.
    When Expiry Date is set, the system will automatically send due notice to Customers.

    Note: You can set default number of days when Quote should get marked as Expired – just follow this guide: Set default Due After for Quotes.

  6. Optional Additional Settings: Select Status, select Sale Agent, and add notes and tags.

  7. Add Quote lines/items.
    1. You can use Add Item dropdown with pre-defined list of items. Name, Description, Rate and TAX/VAT will get automatically filled in.
      Click on Add Item dropdown, select an item from the list and click 23 Create New Invoice 2 11 Add button.

      Note: If you need to add new Items to the system (Add Item dropdown list), please follow this guide: Add New Item

    2. Manually Enter quote items.
      Enter Item Name, Description, Qty, Rate and select TAX/VAT. Click 23 Create New Invoice 2 11 Add button.

  8. Quote Items will get added to the list.
    You can still update each line (e.g. quantities, descriptions, rates, tax/vat), re-order item lines (Reorder Items on Quote), or delete a line by clicking 23 Create New Invoice 3 11

  9. Optional: Quote Discount and Adjustment.
    You can set Quote Discount (percentage or fixed amount) that can be applied before or after tax/vat.
    You can make additional adjustment. Adjustment can also be a negative numbers (e.g -5).

  10. Optional: Client Notes & Terms.
    You can enter additional information to Client Note field and provide some additional Terms & Conditions.
    Both fields will be visible at the bottom of the Quote (PDF and online document).

  11. Click SAVE button to add quote to the system.
    You can click on the small triangle next to ‘SAVE’ button for more options:
    – Save & Send – save and send quote email to customer
    – Save & Send Later – save and schedule quote email to customer
